A quick reminder about Kathryn Calder’s ALS benefit show

A couple of weeks ago, I wrote about Kathryn Calder’s ALS (Lou Gehrig’s Disease) benefit show. She’s playing tonight in the “Old Town” section of the Royal BC Museum in Victoria. “Tickets” to the show were unusual in that you bought a $50 gig poster, which would be signed by Kathryn and your name would be on the guest list.

The show “sold out” pretty quickly, but there were more than a few people like me who bought a signed poster to support the cause, but had no realistic way of going to the event. So… A little birdie told me that a few spots have opened up at the last minute.

If you’re going to the show, remember that there will be a film crew there to document the whole thing. Look your best, and be sure to hold up a sign reading “dlee couldn’t make it”.
