September 8 — taking a break

Sorry folks. No song of the day today. Hopscotch is kicking my ass

As a makeup to you, I’ll show you a tiny bit of what I saw last night. The highlight of what I saw.

I took lots of pictures, and this is one of the better ones.

Zola Jesus

Zola Jesus put on an incredible show and Nika Roza Danilova owned the stage. There’ll be loads of details later. Specifically details about her show.

Also, Odonis Odonis, The Jesus And Mary Chain, and Built to Spill. For the “main event” I was at the front row, and it was amazing, but the experience of seeing JAMC was overshadowed by the awesomeness of Zola Jesus. I was giddy like a schoolgirl. I’ll give full details about everything sometime on Monday.

One more day of Hopscotch, then home, then a long day at work on Sunday.
