02.23.2014 — “Blush” by The Cherry Wave

The Cherry Wave

If you only listen to one song tonight, make it “Blush” by The Cherry Wave (2013, from the EP Blush).

The Cherry Wave is shoegaze/noise rock band from Glasgow. They formed in 2012, and they released a four-song EP on cassette tape last year. They’re hard at work on a new album, which they say they’ll start recording in March.

I know absolutely nothing else about this band.

There’s not much to say here. This is good old-fashioned noisy bliss.

Fuzz, feedback, delay. It’s all there.
